Sandra Robinson

An immigrant to the United States armed with extensive experience working for the clothing and apparel Industry and a dream for fashion designing; graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Art institute of Fort Lauderdale, earning Highest Achievement and Best Portfolio.

 

Inducted into The Art Institute President’s Ambassador Council of Outstanding Students Achievements. Received several awards including “Exceptional Student Designer” at their highly acclaimed Annual Fashion Show. A featured graduate in the 2008 publication of The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale 40th year commemorative book, celebrating excellences and exceptional students and alumni.

 

Greatest notable achievement was designing the costumes for the successful Box Office Movie“Dance Hall Queen”filmed in Jamaica in 1997.  Designed collections of clothing and accessories sold to Sandals and Breezes resorts hotel gift shops in Jamaica, Mimosa Boutique and Shop 603 in Fort Lauderdale Florida.

 

An avid supporter of The Arts and Charities volunteering with local theatre groups, The Edge Theatre Company, Déjà Vu Theatre, South Florida Ballet Theatre, The Fort Lauderdale First Baptist Church Annual Christmas Pageant and Louise Bennett-Coverley Heritage Council.
